Lightship set out to establish a distinctive exterior color palette that reflects the brand's modern, electric vision while feeling equally at home in both natural landscapes and urban environments. The project focused on developing three production-ready colors that balanced aesthetics, durability, and manufacturing requirements, creating a cohesive visual identity for the vehicle lineup.

Nature offers us different kinds of wisdom, revealed in textures, colors, and quiet moments. Each shade in this collection draws from a distinct facet of the natural world, yet together they tell a unified story of resilience, renewal, and grounding.
Shade Moss invites us to slow down and look closer. It thrives quietly among branches, resilient and enduring, only revealing its beauty to those who take the time to notice. It reminds us that strength often hides in subtle places, discovered through stillness and attention.

Snowline opens the world with clarity and calm. Like a blanket of fresh snow, it refreshes the senses, offering a moment of pause and possibility. In its openness, we are reminded of the space to breathe, reset, and begin again.

Granite Braun draws us back to the earth. The fertile soil, the richness of stone, the strength that holds us steady. It speaks of nourishment and endurance, grounding us in stability in a world that often feels unsteady.

Together, these colors create a balance of perspectives: looking up into the canopy, outward across the horizon, and down to the foundation beneath us. Each carries the spirit of nature; resilience, renewal, and stability, guiding us toward a deeper connection with the world that sustains us.

Final Selected Colors

The final color palette translated Lightship's brand vision into three distinct and recognizable exterior colors. Through iterative color development and close collaboration with paint suppliers, we refined each color to balance the character of the vehicle with the realities of exterior paint, durability, and manufacturing. The resulting palette established a cohesive visual identity for Lightship while bringing the brand from concept into production.
